Honest answers about the method, the training, and what it is like to experience LEEF.
LEEF is a connection-forward approach to massage, where slow, flowing, nurturing touch meets strong, deep, intentional work.
It is built on presence over technique. We treat the body as one connected system through long, continuous strokes, and we make space for whatever arises during a session.
We work with the whole body in long, continuous strokes rather than isolated areas, and we use bilateral movements that create a sense of symmetry and wholeness. Minimal draping lets us treat the body as one system.
We blend deep tissue with stretching, energy work, and intentional stillness. The result is one seamless experience rather than a checklist of techniques.
No. LEEF is intimate and intentionally sensory, in that it engages the senses and slows the nervous system, but it is always professional.
Presence, respect, and clear boundaries are held throughout every session.
Your practitioner works with your whole body in a continuous flow, pausing, holding, and breathing with you, and making space for whatever arises.
Every session has a beginning, a middle, and an end, and is designed around giving your body exactly what it needs.
There are three steps. Take an online course to get a feel for the method, attend a week-long LEEF House retreat to learn it in full, and, for those who demonstrate true LEEF excellence, receive an invitation to the LEEF Collective.
You can read the whole path on the Join LEEF page, and apply from there.
LEEF House is a week-long residential certification retreat where practitioners learn the LEEF Method from the ground up, hands-on and immersive, led by Jason Allen and Paul Munroe.
Enrollment is intentionally limited so every practitioner gets meaningful feedback. Graduates leave as LEEF Certified Practitioners.
No. Once you earn your LEEF Certified Practitioner designation, it is yours. It does not expire and it does not require renewal. You earn it once.
The complete LEEF sequence in your hands, ready to offer clients right away, the certified practitioner designation to use in your practice and marketing, and a community of practitioners who work the way you do.
Graduates also become eligible for consideration into the LEEF Collective.
The LEEF Collective is a curated global network of certified practitioners who exemplify LEEF at its best. Membership is offered, not applied for.
Collective members are featured on the LEEF website and promoted across our social platforms.
Most people who come to LEEF House are already practising practitioners, but the application asks where you are in your journey and we read every one.
If you are still training, tell us. We will let you know honestly whether the timing is right.
LEEF is offered by a small, growing group of certified practitioners. Visit Practitioners to see where LEEF is available today, or tell us where you would like LEEF to be next.
Find a practitioner near you and get in touch with them directly. Sessions are arranged with each practitioner, not through this website, and there is no automated booking here on purpose. Our contact form is for everything else.
